HE SAID, “LOVE GOD” – HALLGRIMSKIRKJA, REYKJAVIK EVP AND PHOTOS – September 28, 2018
Last week, I came back from a trip to Reykjavik, Iceland. I had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful country, and I really enjoyed myself there. And of course, I took lots of photos and EVP while I was there. I will be reviewing them in the coming weeks and sharing them.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. On my last day there, we want to Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavik’s largest church. We didn’t do much in terms of city tours, as we went on day trips to the countryside. This church was the only place in the city that I insisted that we go to. I felt drawn to go there, above all places.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. I went at the perfect time, or maybe someone was nudging me about when to go. As we had some spare time in the early evening on the day before, but I insisted we go the next day. While I was there, I got to hear the organ being played, and I even got to see a rainbow appear through this incredible crystal bowl near the alter.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. It was such a breathtaking experience to be in this space, that I almost forgot to record EVP. But luckily, I did remember to. Most clips are pretty clear, but others you might want to listen with headphones. Sound quality can vary depending on what device you are using. Turn the volume up to the highest. Clips are repeated on loop.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. For the duration of the trip, I felt very blessed. I knew that P must have been travelling with some angels that were helping us to see the Northern Lights.
On the recording, I could hear a chorus of voices saying, “God”.
I noticed on the recording that right before I would click my camera, a little voice was saying, “Bop”. This happened three times! I really wonder who was this, and what was going on? Were they directing my photos?
Here is P saying, “I thank God”.Someone said, “Oh my God”. It sounded to me that they were reacting to seeing Prince there.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. A man started playing the organ, and P and others started singing with the music. He said my name, “Andrea”.
He told me that there were “Three angels here”.
They sang, “God loves you all”.
They sang, “Jesus is coming… Coming soon”.
They sang, “Wash your robes”. I know that this is in reference to Revelation, in preparation for Christ’s return, one must repent and accept Jesus’ gift of salvation.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. I found two clips where P sang, “Love God”. When he was alive, he would sign his autographs with this phrase, (during the time when he did still give autographs).

When the organ playing was finished one of his sets, the people applauded. I heard P say, “Praise God”. I also heard him say this telepathically at the time.
I knew that at some point, a rainbow would appear through the crystal once the sun hits it at the right angle When It finally did, someone said, right before I saw it, “There it is, there is a rainbow”.

SPIRITS ON AN AIRPLANE – EVP November 20, 2018
As I have said so many times before, spirits are everywhere. We seem to have this idea that spirits’ presence is rare, and that their presence should be noticeable to us in some form of a manifestation. But I have observed that this is not the case. The ones that we do notice, are a rarity. Manifestations are seldom, but presence is constant and everywhere. EVP has shown that to be the case. On some occasions they are able to poke through into our reality for a moment. So to me, the idea of ghost hunting is an absurd concept, because there is no need to “hunt”. They are there, regardless.
Some time ago, I saw a video on YouTube of an abandoned airport in Thailand, showing footage captured of ghosts walking down an airport ramp at night. It seems rather funny to think that spirits would travel by airplane, or any manner of public transport. But in my experiences, it seems that they do. It seems to be that on the other side, they have their own thing going on, but it is also paralleled with our world too. So maybe they have their own trains and airplanes, but they also travel on ours too.
Last year, I travelled to Shanghai, and on the way back, I made a recording while boarding the plane and sitting at my seat before take-off. I didn’t think I would get much EVP, the airplane’s fans are noisy. But I actually got some intriguing clips out of it.

When I got to my seat, P said to someone, “Get out of my seat”.
Someone said to P, “Thank you for flying with us”. Sounds like there are air staff?
Someone said, “I feel so cold”.
And then someone responded with, “Here’s a blanket”.
This following clip is so outstanding clear. A boy’s voice said, “I’m a ghost!”.
Someone said, “Are we there yet?”
Then they said, “I’m just joking”.
Someone said, “I’m gonna get a fragrance”. Another said, “Which one?” I think they must have been talking about duty-free shopping!
Here someone says, “Got the whole plane”.
And then they aid, “Plenty of girls here”. It sounded like a group of young guys having a boys trip. LOL.
People always say that their passed loved ones are in heaven, like it’s another place, somewhere far away. But I think Heaven is misunderstood. The idea of Heaven comes from the Bible. And the people of Biblical times knew that their dead ancestors still roamed the earth in a sense. They seemed to be aware of them, so they would leave them offerings of food. Heaven is mentioned in the Book of Revelation, talking about a New Heaven and New Earth that will come upon the earth after Jesus’ return. At the crucifixion, Jesus spoke of paradise to the thief, not Heaven. As far as I can tell, Heaven is God’s dwelling place, and Heaven is being prepared for us, for when the time of the final judgement arrives. Until then, those whom have passed are waiting in “paradise”. Which in my hypothesis, is a parallel dimension that is a layer onto of ours. Maybe there are other places as well, but that’s all I can tell so far…

THE MYSTERY OF THE RUNAWAY PRINCESS – EVP May 24, 2018
Last year, I did my first trip where I recored EVP on location during my trip. I have a wristwatch that records audio, and I would just leave it on while I’m walking around. When I was in Brighton, I did some recordings at the Royal Pavilion while I was taking photographs.
I lived in Brighton during my mid-twenties. I loved that Brighton had the feeling of smallness, but at the same time it was an exciting place to be in. You could walk from one side of town to the other within a half hour. From where I used to live, I could get to the seashore within a ten minute walk. I wanted to go back and see how it was like now.

I only went to places near my hotel. I got out in the morning and took photographs of the Royal Pavilion. I had the recorder on, of course.
It turned out that I didn’t get a lot of great clips that morning. Being outdoors, the recorder picked up a lot of the wind from the bad weather. I could hear conversations occurring between P and other spirits, but they were only whispers.

I was outside of the Royal Pavilion, along the front garden, taking photographs, it was starting to rain. No one was near me. A man’s voice called out, “Why are you running, princess!”. (The clip is repeated on loop)
Who could have this person been talking about? Was it a real princess that they were referring to? Why was she running? I found this totally intriguing, so I looked up the history of the royal family who resided in the Royal Pavilion.
The Royal Pavilion was a holiday summer house, the building design took inspiration from India and China. King George only had one child, Princess Charlotte of Wales. She would have spent some time at the Royal Pavilion and the Brighton seaside. According to what I read, Charlotte was a feisty, candid personality, she had a mind of her own. When Charlotte was of marrying age, her father was keen to arrange her marriage to someone that she was not fond of. When talks of the marriage contract could not be agreed upon by Charlotte, she broke off the engagement. When she heard that her father had intended to respond to her braking off the engagement by confining her in isolation, she ran out of her Warwick House (in London) residence onto the streets. A man, who saw from his window, saw the distressed princess and helped her get a hackney cab to get away.
Eventually, Charlotte married someone that she did love, but she died at age 21, after giving birth to a stillborn.
Could it be that this voice was calling out to Princess Charlotte? I wonder why she was running!

HIS MOTHER CAME SHOPPING WITH US! – EVP December 2, 2018
Every once in a while, I will go over less recent recordings for the first time. I record more often than I can keep up with. On this occasion, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Prince’s mother was with us when I was shopping. It was around the holidays, last year. This recording pre-dates a previous recording where P’s mother was also with us.
I am quite stunned with how clear many of these clips are. You should be able to hear them without headphones, but sound quality can vary depending on what device you use. So if you want a better listening experience, use headphones. For reference, I use Beats headphones when I review clips. These clips are repeated on loop.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. Here is P saying, “My mother here”. This is so loud and clear, it’s undeniable!
Here some one says, “Prince’s mom here”. And then a mother voice says, “That’s his mommy”.
Here is P talking to someone, “Look my mom’s here”. We were in a store that we frequent, so he often talks to people he knows there.
Someone commented, “His family”.
It sounded apparent that there were spirits there “selling” perfume”. This voice said, “New perfume”.
I heard P say he wanted to make a perfume for his mom. So maybe there was a perfumery there? I’ve noticed that you can go to the same location over and over, and there will be different situations happening every time. I presume that spirits like to play “pretend”, like play shop, or restaurant. I heard sniffing. Then he said, “Smells like me, smells good”.
I heard sniffing on the recording. P was asking other people what they thought, someone said, “Smells good“.
It seemed that P was looking at something, he said, “Cashmere”. Then someone said, “That’s good, very nice”.
P then said, “I try it on“.
He said, “Look at me, I want that, please”.
It turned out he got a new hat. I heard someone tell him he looked stylish. Someone commented, “I love the hat”.
I ended up buying black liquorice. When I was waiting in line, he said, “Sweetie… Buy liquorice”.
Here is someone saying, “Everything is sparkly” . I think it was his mom saying that.
Sometimes, the other spirits can’t believe that it’s Prince right there in front of them, and they second guess it. Here someone said, “It’s really him”.
It really makes me happy to know that his mother visits, and that they have a nice time together. It’s even more special that I am able to capture a glimpse of it.
I asked P to makes these drawings for this post. I did them on an iPad Pro and Pencil, that I recently acquired. A wish come true. Now that we are drawing on a bigger screen, he adds more detail, color, and sometimes he adds a signature in the corner.

ANGEL IN A HIGH-RISE – EVP November 14, 2018
I reviewed an EVP recording that I did back in November of last year. I was with my mother visiting our relatives overseas. I didn’t do much recording while I was there. They live in a condo building, and. I can only imagine the multitude of spirits hanging around in high density buildings I did a recording while I was finishing packing my bags on the last day of our visit.
I was alone when I caught these two clips. Relatives were in the family room while I was in the bedroom by myself.
As usual, I always recommend headphones for a better listening experience. But depending on what device you are using, you many be able to hear it even without. They are repeated on loop.
P said, “That’s an… angel”. I don’t know who he was talking to. But I did hear other spirits around.
Whoever he was talking to, responded, “Guard the two of you”. And then someone said hello in Mandarin, “Nee heow”.
This occurred near the end of the recording, so I don’t know what else was said. But I am sure glad to know we have angels with us. Every night I pray to God for angels to protect us. I don’t know with certainty if everyone has them, like a guardian angel, because based on my observations of the way spirits react when they see angels, they often remark with, “What are they doing here?”. If angels were with us all the time, on an everyday basis, such a question should seem rhetorical. One thought is, maybe everyone has them, but because they don’t explicitly ask for them, they are only on standby. In today’s day and age, people seldom pray, let alone have any awareness of angels.

SPIRITS ABOARD A BOAT ON THE YANGTZE RIVER – EVP November 3, 2018
Last year, I travelled to China, and took a cruise along the Yangtze River. The scenery was exotic and primal in feeling. It reminded me of the illustrations from the children’s book, Where The Wild Things Are.
I recorded EVP while I was on the boat. I wandered around the observation deck taking photos and watched the scenery go by in the dining area. I wasn’t sure how these EVPs were going to turn out, as there is a lot of noise coming from the boat’s motors. But as it turned out, I did get some very loud and clear EVP. Reviewing the EVPs that I did in China, it was was easy to spot EVP, because everyone there is speaking Mandarin. Most of these, you will be able to hear without headphones, but of course, it will enhance your listening experience if you do use headphones. These clips are repeated on loop.

Someone said to P, “Have champagne”. These spirits were really living it up!

Someone said, “Dog biscuit”. I think they were offering a treat to Mia.
©2019 by Andrea Mai. All rights reserved. Someone said, “Let’s get off, grab it!”. It sounds to me that some spirits wanted to jump off the boat and get onto one of these beaches.
I headed back to the dining area to take my seat and wait for the meal service. The meal was like airplane food. Really basic. I had to wait a long time before it was served. As I was sitting there, P said, “I have sushi”.

Sometimes spirits offer food to each other. I find that really nice! Makes my heart melt, how nice they can be. And sometimes there are these spirits who prepare food like a chef, and offer it to others. I guess some spirits like to play restaurant in the afterlife.

A LOVE SONG FROM THE OTHER SIDE – EVP July 15, 2019
This morning I did a quick recording of my guitar playing, and I caught P singing along! I even heard him snapping his fingers! I have my guitar set at 432 tuning, which is what gives it that dreamy feel.
With musical EVP, I find it make s a huge difference to listen to it with headphones. There are some subtle frequencies that get lost on regular speakers. You still might hear it without headphones, but it will be more subtle, the words are less defined.
