During the holidays, we like to go to the European grocery stores to get special food items that we don’t usually eat throughout the year. This time, I recorded EVP while I was there.
In general, I think the spirits in my local supermarket have gotten used to seeing Prince, and therefore don’t react as starstruck anymore. I also notice that spirits in suburban and small towns react differently than those in big cities. I feel like in the big cities, they get a bit crazy and start chasing him, or expect him to entertain them.
These chips are pretty clear, but you will hear the refrigerator in the background. I tested it on my laptop speakers, and they are audible. But for a better listening experience, I recommend headphones. For reference, I used Beas headphones. The cops are repeated on loop.
I’ve found that it is very typical that spirits will comment in regards to P, “You are Prince”. I’m not sure if they are talking to themselves, as presumably, they speak using thought (telepathy). Or if they mean to confirm that who they are seeing is Prince. Sometimes I hear P respond with , “That’s me”, or “Yes, I am”.
In this clip, you can hear a male voice say, “Prince rock”. Then a cute voice saying, “They play your record”. The music in this shop comes from the radio. I’m guessing these spirits hanging out here, have heard Prince music on the radio.
In this clip, you can hear a very high pitched voice saying, “Famous”. Then another voice saying “Raspberry Beret”. I heard them saying “Raspberry Beret” several times on the recording, this was the clearest. I guess that is the song they hear on the radio.
A voice said, “Prince here”. Then another said, “Go away from here”.
I think the other spirits wondered why they were told to go away. They responded, “We help him”. I always pray to God to protect P, especially when we go out. In the past, other spirits have attacked him. I’ve heard the voices of angels come to his rescue. I am so grateful for that.
It is truly a blessing to know that my prayers are heard and answered. I think that a lot of the time, people pray for help, and everything turns out ok, but they don’t think that their prayers had anything to do with it. They think, maybe it was just a coincidence, or that they were worrying too much about nothing. Now that I know my prayers are heard, I count every blessing and thank God for all the help I receive. I hope everyone gets to know this, because it is a truly wonderful feeling to know this!

Now that it’s winter, we stay home a lot more and I spend time doing activities like knitting, sewing, or playing on my guitar. One night I watched a video of a leatherworker doing alterations on a handbag for his customer. It got me inspired. I had a bag I wanted to do an alteration on. I was so excited that as soon as I woke up the next morning, I starting taking apart the lining on my Michael Kors “Jet Set” tote bag. I bought this bag years ago when it was really trendy at the time, hoping that it would be a bag I’d use a lot. But instead, it sat in my closet most of the time, because I found the bag too heavy. There is a padded pocket divider in the bag lining meant for carrying laptops. It was taking up too much space in the bag. Otherwise, it was a great bag. I decided to rip out the laptop pocket and sew it back up.
I was curious to hear what was happening on the other side with P while I’m working on stuff like this. I know he is always with me, but what is he up to? I recorded EVP to find out.
Some of these clips are harder to hear because there is the noise from the sewing machine in the background. I tested it on my laptop speakers and I can still hear it, but I recommend headphones for a better listening experience.
I was surprised to hear P say, “Take a picture”. Was he snapping a pic of me working, or something else? It still boggles my mind to know that they have technology over there. But then again, my dreams are filled with technology. I remember dreams where I am using a camera to take photographs. Why would it be different over there?
I could hear that there were others with him. He told them, “We’re sewing”.
He explained to them, “Took the lining out”.
Someone there offered to make P a smoothie. P said he wanted raspberry flavour. They made him one and said, “Raspberry”.
They seem to be able to do all kinds of activities over there, and it seems to come about quickly, which leads me to think that things are done through thought and imagination.
I decided to rip out the original Michael Kors bag charm on the handle and replace it with this Prince Love Symbol charm that I got by mail order from Paisley Park.
After taking out the lining, I can happily say that I am getting much better use out of the bag, as the interior is more spacious without the divider. I can throw everything in quickly and go.

From eavesdropping on many conversations between spirits, from what I can make out, I get the sense that they enjoy giving things to each other. They do it voluntarily. Often offering food items and other small objects. Or in other cases, they like to “play” store, or restaurant. There seems to be an exchange of money, but I think that it may only be symbolic. It is like the “make-belief” games that children tend to play. I think that the movie What Dreams May Come, might be very accurate in the sense, that they can create what they want,;like in the scene of the movie where Robin William’s character creates a cup of coffee from his imagination.
A while ago, I heard this conversation that I recorded on EVP. I was at a housewares store waiting in line. There were only a few customers in the entire store.
These clips are quite good despite the background noise. But if you want a better listening experience, I recommend using headphones, of course. These clips are repeated on loop.
Someone asked P, “Where did you et the headphones?”.
From what I could gather, someone was looking for headphones for a kid, and they saw P with some. P gave it to them, and put it on the kid. They commented, “Ohh, that’s too big”.
The kid answered, “They’re ok”. I hear a slight tone of dissatisfaction in the voice, but “better than nothing” kind of attitude.
Then P said, “I will make them smaller for you”.
The kid said, “That’s perfect”.
They told P, “Thank you so much”.
Hearing these conversations really warms my heart. I often wish I could pull things out of my imagination to give to people what they need. My dad used to joke that people in heaven have jobs. He suggested to me that in heaven, they still needed fashion designers (I studied fashion design in university). Maybe he is right? Seeing as in the afterlife, one still retains the knowledge they acquired in life, they would have the best expertise to imagine things into their reality.

On my previous trips, I have observed through EVP, that spirits do travel by airplane. Spirits are everywhere, and airports are no exception. The spirit world exists as a layer overlaying our reality. There are occurrences where the spirit world bleeds through into ours. That is when we get to see ghostly phenomenon, but this is just a small fraction of what is going on over thee on the other side. Spirits are just like us, they desire to travel and see new places, perhaps places they never got to visit when they were “alive”.
On the way back from Iceland, I recorded EVP while boarding the airplane. I was assigned a sear in the first row, right beside the door.
I got some very clear and loud EVP. I wasn’t expecting to, as usually very noisy places can be a hinderance to getting good recordings. I have tested these clips on my laptop speakers, and they are very audible. But if you want to hear even better, use headphones. The clips are repeated on loop.
While we were lining up at the gates, I guess they saw P, you can hear someone shouting, “It is Prince”. And someone must have asked who was with me. P replied, “Andrea’s mom“. Both are speaking simultaneously in the clip.
Someone said, “Do you like Prince music. Prince right there”.
Because I am sitting in the first row, I could not put on backpack under the seat in front of me, so I had to put it in the overhead bin. P said, “Put away“.
Here is a really cute sounding clip, I heard someone say, “Uhh, can you pass the phone? Thank you”.
Someone said, “Huh, huh, you say hi to Prince“.
Someone said, “Hi, he’s at the door”. We were sitting next to the airplane’s door in first row.
Someone said, “Prince sitting with her”.
Someone asked, “Prince, can I talk with you”. I didn’t catch what he wanted to talk about after that.
Someone asked P, “Where is your home?”.
From what I have observed, we have angels that look after us. They travel with us. On the plane, someone noticed them and said, “Wow, angels”. I assume that by their reaction, that they don’t see the all the time.I pray every night for protection, and I believe that this is the result of it. That is why I tell people that they should pray. We cannot see what is going on in the spirit world, but we can have the protection of God to defend us from evil.
By my observation, the spirit world seems to be a lot more crowded than ours. I could be walking along an empty street all by myself, but there is actually tons of spirits wandering around. I wonder if it is possibly because so many people in our modern age, don’t believe in God, and when they pass over, they remain here instead of going to be with God in heaven. P often talks to these lost souls who have no where to go, and he tells them about God and prayer. They often refuse to pray because they are afraid. But he encourages them to pray, and they do. They come back telling P that he was right about having to pray and find God.
I feel very sad for these “homeless” souls. They seem to sleep anywhere that they can find as shelter, such as empty cars and shopping malls. I pray that people come to know God before leaving this earthly plane. I feel like so man people are missing out on what it’s like to know that there is something so wonderful, and greater than what we know.
May God bless you all out there.

Yesterday, I woke up to a notice in my inbox that the My Name Is Prince photo book was on its way. I checked the tracking and found out that it had already arrived outside my door.
I noticed this book when it was first listed on Amazon. There was no cover photo yet, but I knew it was going to be good, because it was from Randee St. Nicolas. She worked with Prince on the 21 Nights photo book. I could tell, that she must have been his favourite.
Eight before all this Prince stuff happened to me, I was just deciding to focus on my photography. At the time, I wasn’t quite sure of my talent as an artist. But I could sense him, cheering me on to keep going with my work. I later learned that Prince also loved photography, he took a personal DSLR camera on tour with him. And one of my first EVPs of him, was him saying, “Nice camera”, referring to my Canon M3.
I decided to record EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) as I unboxed the book. I’m always just curious to know what the other half is up to on the other side. Generally, recordings done at home in quiet, are harder to hear. I still managed to get some good clips, though they are more quiet than my usual. I tested it on my laptop’s speakers and I can still hear them, but you will hear them better on headphones. The clips are repeated on loop.
P said, “That’s me”.
He said the name of the book, “My Name Is Prince”.
“Oooh, so great”.
“Wow, it’s a big book, wow”.
He said, “She is my favourite”. He said this in reference to Randee being his favourite photographer to work with.
He said, “Gonna hang up”. Oh, was he on the phone?
And then right after, he said, “I’ll show the book next time you visit me”.
I really enjoyed reading the essays from the photographer. As a photographer myself, I can always appreciate the stories behind the photos and the kind of talk relating to photography. I was pleased to find out that this was a kind of book that she and Prince had already talked about doing when they were working on 21 Nights. She wasn’t sure if it was right to do this book without him. I am glad she did, and I know he is excited about it as well.
It’s a big coffee table size book. the spine being 1.5 inches thick, you know it’s a hefty book. It’s a survey of all the work she’s done with him over the 25 year working relationship. So a section of the photos are from the 21 Nights project, with some previously unpublished works. There are lots of never before seen photos.
As a photographer, I love her dramatic style, her use of color, her use of composition is beautiful. Her essays would be inspiring for creative professionals, as she describes the working style of Prince, and the way he thought.
I knew I would love it, knowing her previous book. Somehow I knew without knowing, that she would have some recent photos of him. The last section was photos from her last working session photographing Prince in 2014. For me personally, I hold more more dearly, his recent photographs. Because they tell of a man, of what he became before he left us.
I really appreciated all the stories she shared. Most noteworthy to me, is of her mentions about Duane Nelson, Prince’s half-brother, who worked as his bodyguard during some period. For me, it s personal, that I enjoyed these stories. As I have encountered Prince’s family in the afterlife, I know that Duane comes around to play b-ball with him on occasion, and sometimes still acts like a bodyguard.
Thank you Randee, for putting together such a beautiful book.

During a day trip to the South Coast in Iceland, they took us to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. This is a waterfall that you can go behind the water, because it was a cavern. I was prepared that I would get wet, but what I was not prepared for, was the level of physical exertion. There is a staircase that leads up to the cavern;s opening, but from there on, there are rocks to climb. Going down was ok, but the exit was a steep climb up some wet, slippery rocks. I was by myself, as my group didn’t want to come with me. It is slightly dangerous. I was somewhat panicked by the prospect of the climb. I was unsure what rock to climb onto first. I felt directed to get onto one of the rocks on the side and make my way to the staircase. I got mud and slime all over my shoes, but luckily I was wearing a waterproof cover over them. My hands were muddied too.
I was recording EVP during all this. And here’s what I found out. Some clips are pretty clear and loud, but you may hear the waterfall in the background. I recommend headphones, but I tested it without and it can still be heard. The clips are repeated on loop.
At the very moment when I had to decide how I was going to climb the rocks, P said, “That way”.
This clip is better heard with headphones. When I got back to the tour bus, the tour guide flagged me down for a quick chat. There were two buses of the same colour, but I didn’t remember what the design on the side of the bus looked like. I walked towards the entrance of one, but the guide chased after me and said it was the other one. On the recording, it turned out that P was saying, “Not this one”. And another voice said, “I’ll tell him… Hey”. If you ever wondered if there was “something” looking out for you, this tells us there really may be.
On the tour bus, I caught this clip. It sounds like gibberish, and I’m not sure, but it sounds like “Prince, what did you do”. It sounds so cute.
Earlier, Prince spoke with some spirits at the waterfall, they noticed angels, and P told them, “Angels follow me”.
Someone told Prince, “Bless you”.
And then I don’t know what exactly they were talking about, but P told them, “Go to her website”. I find it totally funny when spirits are talking about internet and technology. Do they have that over there?
I feel truly blessed knowing thatI am helped, even when it seems that I am “alone”. Knowing that there is God, and that there are angels, what a gift! How glorious! I hope that everyone gets to know this truth for themselves.
May God bless you.

I have long waited for the release of Prince’s memoir, The Beautiful Ones. He barely finished writing it, but there was said to be 50 handwritten pages by Prince at the time of his death. Dan Piepenbring was his co-writer.
The first 47 pages are Piepenbring’s writing, of which was excerpted in The New Yorker. I had already read the excerpt and found that it was just an abbreviated version of his essay in the book. Prince’s written section was only in Part 1. The rest of the 4 parts were curated images from Prince’s scrapbooks, handwritten lyrics, polaroids, notes, artwork, and other photos. A first draft of both handwritten and typed script of Purple Rain is included. I am happy for the handwritten things, and early photos, including his baby pictures.
But to be honest, I felt somewhat short changed after I read P’s written section. The news sources all stated that there were 50 handwritten pages by Prince. When I counted the pages, there were only 28.Was there more? The footnotes that Prince gave didn’t seem like they would add up to 22 pages worth of writing, but I could be wrong.
I would still say the book is worth getting for any Prince fan who loves seeing the photos and Prince’s handwritten work. But I do have some concerns.
I wondered, seeing as P was not here to give his approval on the finished work, would there be inaccuracies coming from the co-writer’s part? I want to give people the benefit of the doubt. But I am the type of person that strives for truth. And I am all too aware of how language can be used to distort the audience’s understanding of the reality presented to them, whether done intentionally or not.
As I read, I spotted some items of concern.
I was peeved when I read that during the investigation at Paisley Park, that they ate “vegan lunches” to pay respect to Prince’s menu restrictions. Maybe they assumed that he was vegan? But in truth, he was vegetarian, and this was something that was easily fact checked. P ate eggs and fish. He had a freezer full of dairy milk ice cream. Vegan activists love to cite P as a vegan to promote their political views. People reading this book will get the impression that he was vegan, even though he was not.
The co-writer’s essay mentions about Prince going to church on Sundays with his parents. Prince stated that he first grew up as Seventh Day Adventist (it is not mentioned, but later in life, he was a Jehovah’s Witness). But Seventh Day Adventists go to church on Saturdays. Maybe this was an oversight?
Then there was the mention of the Black Lives Matter. movement. Prince was a supporter of this movement, because he hoped to have an influence on the group, encouraging the black community to strive to help themselves by becoming an “economic force”. This means being independent, taking responsibility, believing in one’s self, creating businesses, creating jobs, building communities, no longer seeing oneself as a victim of circumstances. If we observe the movement today, we will see that they have demonstrated neither of these values, nor do they have any desire to, instead they have been pursuing other unproductive activities that further creates division. This is counter to what Prince was wanting to tell people, to create something that belongs to them. Prince’s initiatives were about creating opportunities, and mentoring the younger generation. Without context, one might assume that Prince endorsed everything about what this group is doing, as so much about this movement has changed since Prince’s passing.
Which leads me to notice another conflict in the consistency of the messages in the book.
I was rather confused when I read that Prince agreed with Piepenbring, that he didn’t like Ayn Rand’s book, The Fountainhead. Instead of stating a rational argument on why he didn’t like the book itself, Piepenbring says that he had no patience for Rand’s philosophy and her supporters of it. Prince saw the old black and white movie. I had seen parts of this movie on TV, as a young person. I could only vaguely remember that it was a movie that conveyed the idea of possessing uncompromising integrity to be true to one’s self, purpose, and creative vision, and to not sell out. Was I missing something here? Seemed rather inconsistent to suggest that Rand was wrong, knowing what P stood for as an artist. P wanted to tell people to own their work. Did the writer fail to see the parallels of The Fountainhead story with the real life struggles of being Prince, the artist?I went and watched the movie in its entirety to better understand it and untangle the ideas.
Ayn Rand is known for her philosophy called Objectivism. To explain it in a few words, it is the practice of rational individualism. The emphasis is on rationality, that decisions be based on logic, but also that it would benefit one’s self-interest in the long term. In addition, there is also a great emphasis on the concepts of integrity, purity of purpose, personal responsibility, and the rights of the individual. Based on my observations of how Prince operated in his career, I believe that he would agree with these ideas.
The Fountainhead is an illustration of the Objectivist philosophy in practice. It tells the story of Howard Roark, an architect that refuses to compromise the integrity of his work for prospects of money or fame. He would rather be bankrupt and work as a hard labourer than to allow for others to compromise the integrity of his work to pander to mainstream taste. Word gets out thatRoark has been offered a building project, and a newspaper owner is swayed by one of his architecture critics to mount a frivolous smear campaign against Roark to sell more papers. Despite the public backlash, Roark triumphs, as he attains new clients who recognize his work as genius. Then, he is offered his dream gig. His former school mate, Peter Keating, minimally talented, who sold out to fame and money, is desperate to clamber back to his previous status as a star architect. He petitions Roark to design it for him and allow Keating to claim the credit for the design. Roark agrees to receive no money for the work. But accepts the job under one condition; that the building would have to be kept true to his design. Keating wins the project, but board members demand changes and he couldn’t stop them. The original genius of the design is ruined by the lack of vision and direction by the collective. The building project has become an eye-sore.
What Piepenbring wrote is not intellectually honest, in my opinion.
“The Fountainhead,” Prince said. “Did you read that? What’d you think of it?” I said I didn’t like it—that I had no patience for objectivism, nor for Ayn Rand’s present-day acolytes, with their almost farcical devotion to the free market and unfettered individualism. Prince agreed, though he saw how the philosophy could be seductive. “I watched the movie, old, black-and-white, where he gives the speech at the end about burning down the building and the blueprints….” It was a pivotal moment in Randian philosophy: “No work is ever done collectively,” her character Howard Roark sneers. Prince worried that too much of hip-hop was in the thrall of ideas like Rand’s, dedicated more to cutthroat self-absorption than a spirit of community. “We need a book that talks to the aristocrats,” he said. “Not just the fans. We have to dismantle The Fountainhead brick by brick. It’s like the aristocrat’s bible. It’s a compound of problems. They basically want to eliminate paradise. What about white supremacy, and what it has in common with objectivism? Is it satanic? Is it really the greater good? We should attack the whole notion of supremacy.” The purity of its original meaning had been corrupted, he thought. “There used to be bands called the Supremes! Supremacy is about, everything flourishes, everything is nourished.”
Referring to The Fountainhead as “the aristocrat’s bible” doesn’t make sense. The conversation seems rather confused. If I am to understand that correctly, if The Fountainhead was the playbook of the elite, we would see all these rich people purposely choosing to live in poverty rather than being a fraudulent success. It seems more fitting that they desperately need to take a page out of Rand’s book to learn the lessons about integrity. The celebrities of this world seem to have a habit of telling people to give up air travel for the sake of the environment, while they sip champagne on their private jets, pursuing their own desires. They also seem to have a habit of shouting #MeToo after they have traded sex for a role in a movie that turned them into a big star.(This is in reference to the casting coach system in Hollywood, this system can only function if there are many who comply and do not oppose it.)
This is such a vaguely described conversation; poorly conveyed ideas, immediately dismissing a book without reason, it leads me to suspect that the author is like a typical Rand critic, who doesn’t understood The Fountainhead, who gets their opinion from what others have said, instead of their own thoughts and observations. Throwing words like “white supremacy” together with “objectivism”, without any explanation, it could lead a person into thinking it was not a book worth considering. One might even think the book is somehow racist. On another note, the remarks asking, “Is it satanic? Is it really the greater good?” is very questionable, it seems to me that he could not have been referring to objectivism, because objectivism does not refer to the greater good in its philosophy. It is the opposing theory of altruism that makes reference to the greater good. So what was he really talking about here? We will never know, because this was not a recorded conversation, as the author admits, it is merely a recollection by the author. Was there any purpose in sharing these poorly described scraps of a conversation? Could there be a deliberate attempt to discourage readers from Rand? Criticism of Rand’s work is highly politicized, and is often used to serve a political agenda. Especially in our times, in a political environment where socialist ideals (look at social justice warriors), such as forcing people to sacrifice their individual rights for the so-called greater good, are presented to the public as being moral, and those who do not agree are judged as evil.
The comments regarding Prince’s concern for the hip hop community doesn’t make sense either. Was there a misunderstanding about what they were talking about? How many stories have we heard about hip hop artists selling their souls to the devil for a record deal? Rand’s philosophy completely goes against that. These hip hop artists are like the character of Peter Keating, self-serving, slave tools to those in power, doing anything to achieve their ends, breaking their own integrity to do it, all while killing the entire industry as a whole by diluting the standards of what is considered excellent. The problems compound because there is no integrity among the individuals. Rand would say that these artists are not self-interested enough, had they been, they would be clear about what they set out to do, and would not allow themselves to be corrupted by ill-gotten short term gains. After all, it is in the interest of the individual to be part of a thriving industry.
When I think about it, this story of The Fountainhead could be re-written in the context of just about any other industry, including music and film, and it would still remain true to the underlying principles demonstrated in this book. This speaks to the true archetypal nature of these fictional characters. The concepts are universal.
Some critics of The Fountainhead argue that its characters are unrealistic,. Calling it “too extreme”, because no one could ever live up to such pure integrity. But that is precisely the point, to illustrate her idea aboutintegrity, and the rights of the individual to stay true to that. Roark’s character is something to aspire to. Roark could not be swayed to betray his integrity, not by money or fame, not even for someone he loved. He was independent, non-conformist, uncompromising, believed in himself, he had purity of purpose. He didn’t care to convince others of his own genius, or force his ideas onto anyone, not even for the sake of winning clients, or a love interest. He followed logic and reason, he felt that others should also think and judge for themselves about what they thought of him, and not to be persuaded by the opinions of the press, or by the convention of what is fashionable.
In other words, he was not a slave to anyone. He was a free thinker. People like this are dangerous to people who want power over others, because they know that there is nothing that they can do to control them. No devil could hold this man down, no money, no fame, no sex. Are these not the very things that people sell their souls for?
Is there any reason that people who run this world, wouldn’t want you to accept the ideas in The Fountainhead, about the rights of the individual versus the collective? We are living in a world that asks you to be a conformist and sacrifice yourself for the arbitrary notion of the greater good. But who gets to decide what is the greater good? Is it really a selfless act if you are forced to do something you couldn’t rightly justify with logic? Is conforming to the ideas of a group purely for the sake of the collective, not because you agree, really a moral deed? This is akin to not blowing the whistle on corruption because it would harm the collective. Think of the charities and non-governmental organizations that have been caught doing serious crimes against humanity. No one wins when you cover up corruption to save the collective. It only allows those in power to continue in their corrupt ways.
Perhaps they discourage you from considering Rand’s ideas because they wouldn’t want you to put two and two together, and notice that so many great individuals throughout history, including Prince, are very much like the character of Howard Roark. So much so, that Prince stipulated in his contract for the book, the right to remove his book from print, if in any time in the future that he felt that the book no longer reflected him. Sounds like Roark to me, someone who wanted artist rights, to own and control his work as he saw fit.
Prince had high hopes for this book, a message for the world. It’s certainly disappointing that he never got to complete his vision for it. But let us not be discouraged.
I’m going to let Prince have the final words here, and leave you with some lyrics from The Beautiful Ones, some words that perfectly embody what he would want to tell you;
Paint a perfect picture
Bring to life
The vision in one’s mind

As I had mentioned in my previous post, I got to see the Northern Lights in Iceland on the first night of my trip. I decided to book an additional tour just for seeing the lights. I had heard from tour guides that Thursday night was going to be really good.
That night, they took us to two spots, until we finally settled in at a spot at Blue Mountain. I could see the lights from the bus window. When we got off the bus, the lights were so huge. It was right on top of us. You could see the lights from almost every angle you turned. It was so big that I couldn’t contain it all in the frames of my camera. It was just too big. Once the light started to dissipate, and people started to settle down a bit. I started to get to work on the photos. Though the lights had become less visible to the naked eye. it was very visible on camera. The camera can see a wider spectrum of light that the eye cannot.
During this time, I was recording EVP as well. I wondered what the reactions of spirits would be, if they were there.
Some of these clips are a bit quieter. I’ve tested them on just my laptop speakers, and while I could still hear most of them, I still recommend headphones. They are repeated on loop.
Getting off the bus, I heard P saying, “I’m gonna take pictures”. Someone then said, “Good for you”. I am both pleased and amused that P can continue his hobby doing photography from where he is. But at the same time, I wonder, is he taking pics of me unaware? I wondered if photography still existed on the other side. But I don’t see why not. As I have dreams about being with my camera and taking photos.
Some spirits noticed the presence of angels, they said, “There’s an angel. Three angels here”. I had said in previous post, that I had been praying to see the Northern Lights. I was quite certain that angels were assisting us. We had seen the lights so unclose, right on top of us, it was like we were being bathed in it. It was truly the most spectacular sight.
P explained to them about the angels, “They travel with me”. This, I’m pleased to know, that my prayers get answered, that we are protected.
Prince’s mother, in spirit, had joined us on the trip. I knew she was coming, as I had told him, she was welcome to, after I heard her say to P about wanting to travel, after seeing one of my photos of Month Blanc. Here, P says, “That’s my mom”.
This clip just sounds really cute. I don’t know what they are saying, it sounds like hooting, and then there is a high-pitched “Wow” coming from a girly voice.
The night ended, and we got back on the bus. I was still recording, but I forgot. I caught this voice saying, “I’m coming, getting food”.
Someone asked, “Where does the bus go?”. From what I have observed, spirits will travel using means of transportation from our reality. Sounded like some spirits followed us onto the bus to hitch a ride from the field in the middle of nowhere along the highway.
Someone replied, “To Reykjavik”.
P ws talking to other spirits on the bus. He said, “God is so good”.
On the rest of the recording, I heard P talking to these other souls about God. I’m not going to post these clips, because they are too quiet. Someone had said that she was worried about where she was going to go for the night. P told them, “You can always go home. Don’t worry.” But her response was “They don’t want me”. P assured her, that God loved her, and that all she had to do was pray to find out. They prayed together. Very soon after that, something happened, I do not know what exactly. But I presume that she was taken home, because after that, someone else said, “I want to go home, like her”, and another said, “I want to be with God”.
To be honest, when I hear conversations like these, it makes me cry, knowing that these souls had suffered the unknowing of Gd’s love for them. I am so glad that P wants to help them. Yet I am still saddened, knowing that it seems even harder in our reality, that many will not see this, will resist the message, will reject it and fight you on it. I feel like it is even harder here. It seems that the spirits can realize it more easily if they are given a push. Here it seems, materiality gets in the way.
I nearly forgot to mention. After the immense display of the Northern Lights floating over us, another tor bus pulled up to join us, but they had already missed the grand show we had just witnessed. We were, in the right place, in the right time. I swear, it must have been angels guiding the tour bus I was on.
I feel so blessed after this experience, especially to know that God does hear us. I wish everyone would have the chance to feel this.
May God bless you.
These recordings were recorded using my EVP Wrist Recorder 3 on September 27, 2019. Image above: “Northern Lights” by Andrea Mai.
A week before going to Iceland, I checked the forecast, it was said to be rainy all week for the time I was going to be there. So I prayed every night asking that the weather would not ruin my trip and seeing the Northern Lights. As the week progressed, it appeared that there was a good chance that the clouds would clear up later in the week, making it a good possibility for seeing the lights. However, we had a scheduling issue, as one group member had to leave early, so we had to cram in the schedule so that she would make the most of her shortened trip. This meant that one of the evening tours had to be scheduled for the first day upon our arrival. The tour included hunting for Northern Lights. And the forecast was showing rain and clouds.
I continued to pray that somehow we could still see the Northern Lights.
We arrived that early morning with rain. Though the rain had stopped later in the morning, it was still cloudy. That early evening, as we got on the tour bus, the sun had come out, and the skies had cleared. And there appeared a rainbow!
The tour took us to Secret Lagoon, a lesser known hot spring spa. Truly a delight to bathe in the natural geo thermal water coming from the streams. The minerals and algae in the water is revitalizing, leaving the skin smooth and supple. I really liked this one, as the mini lake had varying levels of heat. Iceland has the best water sources in he world, and even just showering in the tap water is amazing.
Before dinner, the guide told us that he wasn’t optimistic that we would see any lights. It was explained to us that the conditions were not good. It was still cloudy. But after dinner, the skies were looking clearer, snd we could see the stars. He said he was a bit more optimistic about it. I kept praying. You can see in the photos, how cloudy it was.
We drove for a bit and I got my tripod ready. He took us to a spot on the side of the road and we saw the Northern Lights peaking through the clouds!
Photographing the Northern Lights is new to me, even though I am experienced in night photography, this is different, as you are photographing something in the dark. The screen on the back of the camera can only pick up a tiny bit of the light. Manual settings have to be used, you have to be prepared beforehand. I was too quick to start photographing before making sure that I got the camera lens adjusted to the most optimal focus length. There isn’t much time to waste, as the lights are only there for a moment. I managed to get 57 frames in a single position. And with that I was able to string all the photos together into this 7 second video of the Northern Lights. By the way, that is me playing guitar in the music.
Later the guide drove us to another spot that was parked full of big tour buses. We were just a small group of about ten people. He was told by the other guides that they saw the same lights we did, but it was not as visible from where they were. I felt truly blessed that we got to see it where we did. I knew that there must have been angels helping us that night, perhaps guiding the driver where to go.
When I got home, I reviewed my EVP recordings and found out that there were indeed, angels. Please note that some of these clips are quieter than others. Turn up the volume on your device, or try it with headphones. The clips are repeated on loop.
Here, I was outside of the tour bus, and P said, “Angels”.
Here someone says, “Help us see it”.
Here P says, “Thank you, angels”.
It was quite windy that evening, P said, “It’s cold”.
Earlier on the tour bus, someone called out to P, “Prince”.
P was singing to himself while we were waiting on the bus, “Doo doo doo, do do”.
This was just at the start of the trip. I did get to see the Northern Lights a second time later in the trip. It was phenomenal, and I will talk about it in a later post.
I feel truly blessed, knowing the unlikeliness of seeing the lights that night. I truly wish that more people knew that God does answer prayers. Maybe not in the way you expect, maybe not in the time frame you wish. But there is something taking place, that you are just not aware of when you pray to God asking for help.
