Today is Prince’s five-year anniversary since his passing. Ever since that year, I’ve noticed snow in April. Like the title of his song, Sometimes it Snows in April. It was never like that before, here in Toronto. And this year, I woke up to a yard full of snow. It was a strong reminder to me that he is here with me.
I decided to go out for a morning walk, and I took my camera with me.

Five years seems like a long time ago. So much has happened since. The world is really a different place now. It’s weird, it’s like become less innocent. I feel nostalgic for simpler times, preferably the 2000’s. When we still bought music on CD, and people didn’t rely on social media to communicate. People seemed nicer back then. More civilized.

Later in the day, I made this piece of artwork in his honor. I experimented with some new materialsI recently acquired, making this UV print with some lace and a necklace of his symbol.

I hope you’re all doing well, keeping safe. Ttyl.

First of all, I want to wish all my readers a Happy New Year. I hope you are doing well and that the new year will bring you something great, in spite of the world situation. Things here have been ticking along, the usual year end stuff, catching up on paperwork, getting things organized.
On New Year’s I recorded EVP, and heard someone come to greet us “Happy New Year”, as the fireworks were going off in my neighbour’s yard.
I have been reviewing EVP from over the summer, and I found a clip of a bird tweeting inside my home. I don’t have any birds or pets. And then I heard someone, kind of faintly, saying, “Play with dove”.
I thought to myself, could it be? Prince’s dove? I’d seen him in my miind’s eye, fluttering about our home. But I hadn’t any confirmation of this.
Then I heard someone say, “What’s is its name?”
I heard P reply, “Majesty”.
Prince had a pair of doves at Paisley Park. Divinity, female, and Majesty, male. Majesty died in 2017. Divinity and Majesty were both featured on the last track of Prince’s One Nite Alone album, titled Arboretum. Isn’t it nice to know that you can be reunited wit old pets?

Over the summer, I recorded while I was at Costco. I heard this voice say, “Mon cheri”. That is French for, my dear.
Due to covid-19 precautions, they no longer hand out food samples. I’ve often heard EVP voices calling out to people to try the samples. This one was saying, “Green tea”.
P often gets recognized by other spirits. Very often, people comment, “You’re Prince”.
I found this clip of someone saying, “Now we’re lost”. I wonder what they meant by that, if they are lost inside Costco, or lost in the greater sense of things.
Someone said, “Look out”. You can hear shopping carts crashing into each other. I found this to be a common thing, that spirits will warn people of potential harm.
A voice here is saying, “Need more fish”. I guess they were telling someone to stock up on fish as prep for more future lockdowns.
Some of you might be wondering what my take is on the whole virus situation is. Some of you know that I make and sell face masks. While I am aware of conspiracy by shadow governments, I am not buying what the alternative media is selling either. I don’t believe that anyone out there is spilling the straight truth about the situation. Alternative media is often used as controlled opposition to create the illusion of choice. It is a psychological warfare tactic. Offer them two choices that you want the public to choose from, both choices resulting in what it is you want to accomplish. Either way, if you buy into any of the two choices, you are falling into their trap. People accuse each other of not thinking for themselves, meanwhile they are still choosing one of the two given narratives. I don’t believe in either of the “official” narratives. My view is that every person is responsible for their own well being, therefore taking precautions in order to mitigate risk. You will not see me out there in a crowd protesting lockdowns, nor are you ever gonna see me in line for a vaccine. Think for yourselves. Question everything. Pay attention to what they are saying and pay attention to what they aren’t saying. Demand proof for all claims. So many alternative media figures claim to know what’s going on, they claim insider info, secret whistleblower sources. One’s credibility is in the proof they provide, not what they say. Don’t trust, verify! When you line up all the narratives and they don’t make sense, you know that something else is going on.
God bless, and take care of yourselves.

Last year, I travelled to China, and took a cruise along the Yangtze River. The scenery was exotic and primal in feeling. It reminded me of the illustrations from the children’s book, Where The Wild Things Are.
I recorded EVP while I was on the boat. I wandered around the observation deck taking photos and watched the scenery go by in the dining area. I wasn’t sure how these EVPs were going to turn out, as there is a lot of noise coming from the boat’s motors. But as it turned out, I did get some very loud and clear EVP. Reviewing the EVPs that I did in China, it was was easy to spot EVP, because everyone there is speaking Mandarin. Most of these, you will be able to hear without headphones, but of course, it will enhance your listening experience if you do use headphones. These clips are repeated on loop.

I was on the top deck when I recored these clips. It appears that P was enjoying some fancy food spread while I was busy taking photos. Here is a clip him saying, “Cheese“.
Someone said to P, “Have champagne”. These spirits were really living it up!

Mia (the dog) was with us, P said, “Mia”. and someone said, “You little, Prince”.
Someone said, “Dog biscuit”. I think they were offering a treat to Mia.

Someone said, “Let’s get off, grab it!”. It sounds to me that some spirits wanted to jump off the boat and get onto one of these beaches.
I headed back to the dining area to take my seat and wait for the meal service. The meal was like airplane food. Really basic. I had to wait a long time before it was served. As I was sitting there, P said, “I have sushi”.

If you ever wondered if they enjoy food over there on the other side, then here is the evidence to suggest that they do. Sometimes spirits offer food to each other. I find that really nice! Makes my heart melt, how nice they can be. And sometimes there are these spirits who prepare food like a chef, and offer it to others. I guess some spirits like to play restaurant in the afterlife.

I’ve found that location environment can really affect the quality of EVP recordings. Places with good acoustics can really amplify the EVP. I also think the type of place will affect what kind of spirits are attracted to be there, therefore affecting the overall content of the recordings. A while ago, I was at the park during Mother’s Day weekend. Lots of families were there to see the cherry blossoms and greenhouse conservatory. I have to say, I was stunned by the things I heard.
Most of these clips are amazingly clear. However what device you are using to listen from will affect the sound quality. I review my audio using Beats headphones, so if you want to hear what I’m hearing, you might want to use headphones to get the full experience of these clips. They are repeated on loop.

As I walked to the park by myself, I sensed that P had brought Mia with him. Turns out to be right! I found this clip of him saying, “Mia, where you going”.
My main objective for being there was to photograph the cherry blossoms. Listening to the recording, it turned out that P was also busy taking photos for other spirits! Here someone says, “Great shot”, and another replies, “Prince took it”.
Here someone says, “Prince take our picture”.
Here someone says, “Prince take my photograph”.
Here someone says, “Take a photograph”.
Here someone comments, “Wow, Prince”, and another says, “Great photographer”.
Here someone says to him, “You make postcard”. I guess they thought he should make postcards of his photos! I find this really funny because that is what I do with some of my photos. I sell them in my shop.

If you didn’t know, P was known among his friends as having a really good eye for photography. He had a Nikon, but in the later years, I saw him switch to a Canon. It’s so amazing to know that we are doing the same stuff together even though we are “apart”.
Here is someone laughing, “Hahahaha”.
I found this clip where a girl voice said, “Dear Diary”. And spoken on top someone saying, “Prince right there, look at that”. Was the girl writing in her diary?
Sometimes the spirits talk crazy fast. Here is what I could make out, someone said, “I wonder what…”. Another says, “This is centre”. Maybe they were wondering where we were?
This clip is stunning. A girly voice says, “Prince, we’re all in here”. It sounds so magical.
Amongst a crowd, someone said, “Prince will be in here”. It sounds like they were looking for him in one of the greenhouse rooms.

After I was done with being in the greenhouse, I went outside to get some more shots. I heard a kid voice ask to try on Prince’s gloves. He agreed to it and said, “My glove”.
Another kid came over and said, “I wanna see them”.
Then the kid said, “They’re giant though”.
I heard P say on the recording that his mother came to join us. Here a kid asks, “Who is this”. And P responds, “My mother”. As I was leaving the greenhouse, I was wondering if his mother was going to come see him for Mother’s Day. And she did!
Someone said, “It’s so beautiful”.

It was a beautiful day out. It makes me so happy to know he is doing things too. Getting to hear a glimpse of it is incredible. I found that in my experience, (some, not all) spirits can be incredibly kind to each other over there. They help each other out. They can be really generous. It’s really touching.
P/S I’ve opened up an online shop where you can get my photography prints. Decorate your home, or give them as gifts!

If you have ever wondered if your will be reunited with your pets in the after life. Here is hope. I have heard EVP evidence of Prince’s dog, Mia being with us. And actually, before I was even able to hear about her, I saw her in my mind’s eye. One day I was sitting in a waiting room when I saw this cute little terrier running around at my feet. Then when I started getting into doing recordings, P would say things like, “Dog on your bed”. And I don’t have a dog, nor have I ever had one.
One day, I was recording at Costco, and apparently Mia was with us, because all these spirits there were reacting. In this post, I’ll share their reactions with you. Most of these recordings are pretty loud and clear, but you might still want to try listening with headphones. I use Beats headphones when I review the audio. Depending on what device you’re using to listen, sound quality can vary. The clips are repeated on loop.
Here someone says, “Did you have a puppy“. P replied, “Ah, Mia”.
Someone said, “Puppy here… There’s a puppy here”.
Here someone said, “You are a nice puppy”.
Here’s a clip saying, “Prince puppy here”.
Keep in mind, these were all recorded at Costco, there are no dogs allowed in there! I was surprised to hear how excited the spirits were about seeing P’s dog. I caught other interesting clips too.
Here someone says, “I met Prince”. It sounds like he was talking to himself.
Here someone asks P about me, “Who is this?”. He replies, “My twin soul”.
Occasionally I will hear them ask P about his death. Someone asked, “How did you die?”. P said, “I died from pills”.
What I’ve observed about the spirit world is that they are hardly shy about asking direct questions. Even if it’s really nosey, like “Where are you going?”. Sometimes I hear the weirdest things that I know for certain that no living people would be asking, at least not out loud in public. They also seem very open to conversation and interacting with each other. M guess is that because communication is done through thought, there are not many barriers to starting a conversation.
