  • WHEN CERTAINTY BECOMES A CAGE

The Person I Used to Be

    I was not always free.

For years, I held religious beliefs that were inherited, not chosen. Handed down like furniture you never asked for but were afraid to throw away. I believed in spirits, but listening to them was forbidden. I sensed the dead, but asking for proof felt like a sin. I wanted direct knowing, but accepted inherited rules.

I lived with a double identity: the public believer and the private seeker. The two never met. I held contradictions in the same head and called it faith.

So I stayed inside the lines. I was certain – or at least I told myself I was. Certainty felt safer than questions.

    But the questions never left.

    The Cost of Certainty

Looking back, I can see what that inherited certainty cost me.

It cost me being able to own my experiences. I sensed things I could not explain, but I had no language for them except the one I was given – and that language always ended in fear. Demons. Deception. Do not test.

It cost me peace. I was always holding two realities at once: what I felt to be true, and what I was told was true. The gap between them never closed.

And it cost me connection. I could not fully share what I was experiencing, because I did not have permission to name it accurately.

I was not lying. I was trapped – by beliefs I never chose, reinforced by authorities who needed me to need them.

Eventually, the weight of the contradiction became unbearable. I decided to test what I was taught – with logic.

As it turned out, there was a lot of history that is not taught inside religion. You are told to believe and not ask questions. And that is how any kind of foundation for a cult works: it opposes questioning.

    So I questioned anyway.

I looked into the practices I had been told were dangerous. I learned their history. I tested them for myself – not with rebellion, not with anger, just with honest curiosity: Does this work? Does it describe what I actually experience?

Again and again, the answer was yes.

The universe did not punish my testing. It rewarded my clarity.

I walked out of the cage I had inherited. And once I was outside, I could see the lock from both sides.

Why Some People Cannot Walk Out

I understand why some people stay in the cage – not because they are weak or stupid, but because their nature and their conditioning have sealed the door from the inside.

Some people need a single, solid foundation. Without it, they feel lost. The inherited beliefs give them that ground – not just ideas to hold, but earth to stand on. Asking them to question it feels like asking them to stand on nothing.

Some people experience their own certainty as absolute truth. Whatever they decide is real feels rational and clear-headed to them, even when it contradicts what they feel. Their minds cannot hold “maybe” for long.

And some people are deeply sensitive to fear. They absorb it from their environment – from their community, their tradition, their authorities. The fear feels like their own, but it is not. They cannot tell the difference.

When you name that fear – demons, hell, punishment – it becomes manageable. Now it has a source. Now you can pray against it. Without that naming, the fear is just… fear. Formless. Terrifying.

For these people, the cage is not a prison. It is survival.

What I Learned About Love and Rescue

I have known people like this. People with genuine spiritual experiences – visions, visitations, a felt sense of the dead – who cannot see those experiences clearly because every one is filtered through fear.

I wanted to help. I thought if I just found the right words, the right framework, the right evidence – they would see.

They did not. They will not. They may never.

And I had to accept that.

You cannot break someone’s cage from the outside.
The lock is on the inside. Only they can turn it. And their own nature may never let them.

My role was never to save them. My role was to witness – clearly, compassionately, without losing myself in their suffering.

I could not give them my freedom. But I could give it to myself.

What I Hope You Take From This

If you love someone who is trapped in religious certainty – someone who has genuine spiritual gifts but has wrapped them in fear and demons and divine punishment – hear this:

    • It is not your fault. You did not build their cage.
    • It is not your job to break it. The lock is inside.
    • Your clarity will feel like an attack to them. They cannot receive what you offer.
    • You can still love them. From a distance. Without expectation.
    • The only person you can free is yourself.

I freed myself from inherited beliefs that kept me small. I learned to trust my own direct experience. I practice EVP without fear. I use the tools that work for me without needing permission from any authority.

That freedom allowed me to see the dead clearly – for the first time, without projection, without fear.

I could not give that freedom to everyone I loved. But I could give it to myself.

    Final Words

The cage is real. So is the door.

But only you can decide to walk through it.

If you are still hesitating – still holding contradictions, still afraid to test – I understand. I was there. The fear is real. The warnings were loud.

But I tested anyway. And what I found on the other side was not hell.

It was clarity. It was peace. It was the dead, waiting to be heard.

You do not need permission. You never did.

Test. Listen. Trust what you find.

    The universe rewards courage.

  • MY 2-CENTS ON THE NEW AGE TO CHRISTIAN PIPELINE

How Bible scholars like Michael Heiser do a logical bait and switch on theology.

I used to follow Michael Heiser’s work closely. For an evangelical scholar, he was refreshingly willing to take the supernatural world of the Bible seriously. He talked about the divine council, the Watchers, the elohim, territorial spirits—things most churches ignore or explain away.

He gave people permission to ask questions. And for that, I am grateful.

But the more I read, the more I ran into a wall. Heiser would lay out all this evidence—the ancient Near Eastern context, the Ugaritic texts, the Second Temple literature—and then, at the very end, he would say: But Yahweh is still the supreme God. He is still good. He still loves you and wants you to be in his family. Just worship Him.

It felt dishonest. Not deliberately, perhaps. But intellectually, it was a retreat. He had followed the evidence to the edge of the cliff, and then he stepped back.

And that’s when the logic for his theology falls apart.

The New Age to Church Pipeline

There is a trend happening right now. People who came out of new age spirituality—who were tired of the channeling, the starseeds, the endless speculation—are finding their way to Christianity. They are attracted to the figure of Jesus, to the idea of a loving God, to the structure and community that the church offers.

But they are coming in without the full picture. They do not know the history. They do not know the Old Testament. They do not know that the God of the church is the same God who drowned the world, commanded genocide, and threatened eternal torture. They are enthusiastic converts, hungry for stability and truth, but they are being handed a system they do not fully understand.

  • THEY OFFERED HIM A PIZZA – FOOD IN THE AFTERLIFE – EVP

Recently, we went to a specialty grocery store, and found ourselves arriving there only minutes before closing time. The shop was packed up, ready to close. And only the shop workers were there. I rushed to grab what I came for. During that time, I was recording EVP. When I got home to review the recording, here’s what I heard.

Just before entering the store, a voice in the lobby said, “What you want to eat? Come with us”.

Then another voice said, “You wanna pizza?”.

It seemed to be that they were offering to help P with whatever food he wanted to get. I heard them offering him samples, “Try this”. From what I heard, he wanted cranberries, and they went to get some for him. They acted like really helpful shop assistants, and they enjoyed it.

From what I have observed doing many recordings, they do eat food in the spirit food. They eat, not out of necessity, but out of desire and habit. They do feel hunger, but it’s the kind of hunger where not eating occupies the mind, like a craving.  I will often hear spirits offering each other food. Sometimes it seems as though they have food that they can pull out of their  pockets. Once I heard a spirit offering granola bars to some “new” spirits. Sometimes, I’ve heard spirits offer coffee to P. It seems to be something that they enjoy doing for each other.

I once asked P where do they get food over there, he said, “Grocery store”. It seems that they can grab the “spiritual copy” of items. What exists here, also exists there in spirit form.

But he also explained to me, that they can materialize what they want with their thoughts. He said, “Imagine”. But what they can create is only as good as their imagination, or memory of what they want to eat, so having references like cookbooks are useful. For this clip, he spoke very fast, you will hear the original once, and then the clip will repeat with a slowed down version.

The following are some clips from earlier this year.

Here is one voice that said in a mall, “I got strawberry”.

    Here is P saying, “Raspberry”.

Here is a voice that said, “Hungry, just woke up”.

Here P is being offered a drink at Michaels, “You wanna drink?”.

So, when we look back at ancient history and we find that ancient cultures buried their dead with food offerings, it was not such a silly thing after all. They do receive our offerings, as well as our thoughts for them.

I once saw a documentary of some mediumship experiments. In one demonstration, a crystal was made immaterial but visible by a spirit, and then turned back into material form. They explained that everything has a spiritual form. When people pass on, their spirit form lives on. So with this understanding, we can also conclude that resurrection, as spoken of in the Bible, is possible. The spirit form of the person can materialize here in physical form. I have talked to people who have seen apparitions of the deceased, and they can appear in a continuum of different forms. I have heard  of people having seen the ghost of a person in solid form, but it was always only very momentary. I believe that one day, on the Day of the Lord, our deceased will resurrect, with new bodies, similar to how Jesus appeared after his resurrection.

These recordings were recorded using  my EVP Wrist Recorder 3 in 2020.

  • THE GOOD NEWS IS, YOUR THOUGHTS ARE NOT ALWAYS YOUR OWN

Have you ever wondered where thoughts come from? Have you ever suddenly experienced a horrible thought explode in your mind that was completely  uncharacteristic of you? Perhaps these thoughts were disgusting, embarrassing, or even horrifying, and you start to wonder where those thoughts came from or if something is wrong with your mind?

You may be surprised to learn that throughout  four years of undergraduate psychology and another four years of graduate school in psychology and counseling the issue of where thoughts come from was never brought up. Considering that all conscious behavior is mediated and triggered by thought, Jerry Marzinsky found this very strange. Finally after two years in a Phd psychology program, and seeing absolutely nothing come up that addressed the issue of where thoughts came from during a lecture one day, he posed the question to the head of the department during a lecture.  The professor stood at the podium, stunned as if a martian had fallen out of a spaceship at his feet and stared. He finally responded, “I’ll meet you after class.”   when he posed the question to the head of the psychology department during a lecture. When class ended, the professor left in a rush, avoiding Jerry.

I first learned of Jerry on a popular YouTube channel when he was a guest being interviewed. Since then, he has gone on many more interviews to spread the good news, that contrary to mainstream psychology, the voices that plague schizophrenics can be stopped, and these people can be fully recovered and not just endlessly treated with medications.

Jerry was a licensed psychotherapist, now retired, with a career spanning over 35 years.  He has worked on the front lines of mental health during his entire career, including state and private psychiatric hospitals, mental health clinics, the psychology department of in state prisons, and spent the last ten years of his career working psych crisis in the emergency rooms of large private hospitals the entire time questioning schizophrenic patients about the voices they heard. After questioning scores of schizophrenic patients he slowly  started to discover the truth when the voices showed up and told the patients he was working with, “Don’t tell him anything more, he already knows too much.”

In school, he was taught that the voices were hallucinations due to some mysterious chemical imbalance in the patient’s brain that the ant-psychotic drugs dished out by psychiatry somehow brought back into balance. The only problem was, that he never saw a psychiatrist order any kind of lab test or any other kind of test to measure which chemicals were out of balance, or by how much. How what meds to use, or how much, if they had no idea of which chemicals in the brain were out of balance, or by how much. The fact is that they had no idea of which of these mysterious brain chemicals were out of balance, or by how much, and no test existed to measure this mysterious chemical imbalance existed.  Jerry concluded that, the chemical imbalance theory was a ploy by big pharma to sell drugs.

As Jerry continued his investigation into what these voices were, and how they operated, his superiors found that the was asking his patients about their voices. On two different occasions, he was ordered by psychiatry, not to ask about what the voices were telling schizophrenic patients, as it not only upset them, but reinforced the idea in the patient’s mind, that they were real. Jerry observed that the voices were very real and often horrifying to the patients. He disregarded psychiatry’s orders, continued asking his patients questions, and tried to remain under psychiatry’s radar. It wasn’t long before he found himself slipping down the proverbial rabbit hole.

Patients continued to reveal what they were hearing. Some felt as if the voices  originated within their own mind and belonged to them. They accepted psychiatry’s unfounded theory that their brains were broken.Others knew that the horrible thoughts were not their own, but had no idea what they were or where they came from. In  severe cases, the voices would be physically heard from outside of their head. The voices would often torment patients by saying horrible  things about the patient, and bring up painful memories. Jerry started to notice a pattern with the voices, and concluded that they could not be hallucinations, as these voices were consistently saying the same thing among all these patients housed in different institutions across the U.S.. The voices consistently told his patients to get off their medication, and that the side effects of these drugs was proof that their psychiatrist was poisoning them. This resulted in an attack rate upon psychiatrists at the state hospitals which exceeded that of all other staff, except attendants who were with patients twenty four hours a day. If the patient listened and went off their medications the result was  a psychotic episode, rendering the patient dysdunctional.  He also found that the voices consistently told patients to avoid church, and to not read the Bible or any other positive spiritual material. He began to wonder why this would even concern what was supposed to be an unreal hallucination. For some that managed to get themselves to church, the voices would torment them often growing louder and forced them to leave. Jerry also noticed that patients would try to read the Bible, but could not remember anything after reading it. But if they read a passage from a gruesome horror novel, hey could readily recall what they red in great detail. Many patients kept horror novels by their bedside.

One day, a patient who was doing well with regard to getting rid of his voices, came to Jerry’s office without an appointment, and said that the voices wanted to speak to him. They told Jerry, through the patient, “You have no right to interfere with our way of life”. Jerry started to realize that these voices were much more than a mere hallucination like he was taught in his psychology textbooks. After years of investigation, he has concluded that these voices were from demonic entities, who fed on the negative feelings of their host victims, often depleting them of energy and vitality.

From observing his own personal experiences, he noticed how mentally healthy people were also affected by these negative entities in more subtle ways. One would naturally assume that one’s thoughts always come from one’s own mind, but only until you discover the presence of spirits and their capabilities, do you begin to realize that the source of one’s thoughts might not  be one’s own. It can be a huge relief for one to realize that not everything that passes through one’s mind belongs to them.

I have personally discovered this for myself, from my experiences dealing with the spirit world and capturing EVP. After reviewing countless hours of EVP, I discovered how spirits could seamlessly implant thoughts into my mind without my knowledge. I could hear words in my mind and find it spoken by a spirit on EVP when I went back to review the audio. This was well demonstrated to me, when I found myself laughing to myself, at a joke I heard in my head at a buffet, a mean standing in front of me with a support dog. I heard the words, “Do dogs eat for free?” I found this joke spoken to me on the EVP.

During my early days of dealing with the spirit world, I would often hear in my mind, being told that I was crazy, despite my own confidence that what I was sensing was real. Later, I would discover voices on the EVP trying to tell me that I was crazy. It was a like a Wizard of Oz moment, when the curtain was pulled back, and the truth was found out about who was really behind all this trouble. Though the practice of prayer, I got rid of the negative entities from  my home.

After listening to many of Jerry’s fascinating interviews, I reached out to him, and he agreed to share some more of his stories with us. We have collaborated to release this intriguing story as spoken word audio and in text format. Jerry;s story is cleverly written and contains many tip and information on the subject matter of schizophrenia and negative entities, including how to get rid of them.

(After you read or hear the story, I’d implore you to check out this verse from the Bible, Revelation 16:13. You’ll discover something interesting.)
